The Cerqueto farmhouse is located in Acquapendente on a plateau which enjoys a panorama that extends from Monte Rufeno to Monte Amiata.
The farmhouse, which dates back to the second half of the 19th century, has been restored respecting its original composition both in the structure and in the use of materials.
It has 6 apartments for a total of 31 beds and each of them has a fully equipped kitchen, independent heating and TV.
At guests' disposal the laundry and ironing room, as well as the playground, the seasonal swimming pool with hydromassage, the solarium, the large garden with gazebo, the barbecue and the wood-burning oven for pizza.
Upon request, it is possible to use a common room for receptions.
At the Cerqueto company organic farming has been practiced for years for legumes and cereals and the products boast the brand of the Alta Tuscia Mountain Community (for more information visit the website www.altatuscia.vt.it): they represent some of the distinctly typical products of the area , such as the Onano lentil, the purgatory bean, the chickpea from Solco Ritto or the spelled from Pungolo di Acquapendente.
The excursion routes in the vicinity are interesting: in addition to the Via Francigena route and the routes on Monte Rufeno, there is the route of the Sentiero dei Briganti. The routes can be tackled on foot, by bicycle or on horseback.
