Semi di Tuscia is a small young farm that extends over just over 5 hectares, in Marta (Viterbo), on the fertile volcanic soils around Lake Bolsena.
The project was born from the dream of Stella and Lorenzo: taking care of a small piece of Earth, reaping its fruits and transforming them.
She with a past in non-profit fundraising and he in experimental physics, life companions, we have armed ourselves with the courage necessary to abandon our life in the city and now we are learning the noble profession - very ancient and which nevertheless always reserves novelties and unexpected events. - of cultivating the Earth, with respect.
We believe in small-scale peasant agriculture, which guarantees a decent income to its protagonists, which uses but does not waste water, which gives beauty to the agricultural landscape, restores fertility to the soil as an ally to combat climate change; an agriculture that is part of and coexists with Nature and thus feeds biodiversity, instead of exploiting and polluting.
The need to share and deepen these issues, defend the territory where we have chosen to live, create bonds with other people who have taken the same path as us, has led us to know the Widespread Rural Community, of which we are active participants.
