The precious saffron of Zafaran Cuore Rosso di Nepi is a highly prized Italian product and cultivated manually as it once was, its cultivation is 100% natural in the Nepi countryside, without the use of chemical substances. The richness of this prestigious spice is closely related to the preciousness of the land of Nepi, clayey and draining, at the same time, to the cultivation and harvesting method which takes place from the early hours of the morning. In fact, to keep the properties of saffron unchanged, the harvest is carried out manually thanks to the simultaneous work of numerous people, to avoid exposure of the stigmas to the first rays of the sun.
