The Sant’Isidoro estate, established in the late 30s along the coast of the Maremma Laziale (90 km north of Rome and about 25 km from the border with Tuscany), covers an area of about 817 hectares.

For three generations the Palombi family has managed the farm with passion, dynamism and a lot of determination, willing to combine tradition and innovation, always within the respect towards nature’s rhythms and the peculiarities of the territory.

It all started with Giovanni (the grandfather) who gave a boost to the farm's development in the late 30s, together with two other families from Turin he sensed the potential of the Maremma lands.

With this in mind, Giovanni and Antonio, the third generation, today carry on the same commitment with the objective of producing high quality wines with personality and good structure.

The cultivations in our estate are typical of the Mediterranean area: peaches, plums, apples, apricots, cherries, etc… tomatoes, watermelons, melons, asparagus, courgettes, aubergines, etc… for fruit and vegetables; durum wheat, corn, sugar beet, sunflower, protein crops and extensive crops. In addition, part of the farm converted into "organic" production, has been intended for farming animals, such as Maremmana cattle, sheep and horses, in the wild.

The new varieties planted are: Montepulciano and Sangiovese as native vines (that have been growing for years in the area), Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc as international and national vines (now perfectly adapted to our territory).
