In the Etruscan Tuscania, the heart of the Lazio Maremma, a treasure trove of ancient art and culture, a town traditionally dedicated to agriculture, the Lilloni brothers, young entrepreneurs, manage a company of about 150 hectares, divided into various "farms" owned by the family.
“If you don't love what you do, every problem will seem like an insurmountable obstacle”: this expression sums up the entrepreneurial thinking of the Lilloni family.
First the grandfather, and then the father dedicated themselves with sacrifice and passion to agriculture, they enlarged the company by purchasing new land, which until the nineties was almost exclusively sown with durum wheat, a cultivation for which Tuscania was, and still is, known and respected.
The real change took place about 15 years ago, when the two brothers decided to take over from their father and gradually convert the company. Firmly believing in it, they chose to devote themselves to organic farming, to diversify crops, no longer just wheat, but farro, chickpeas, lentils, cicerchia and to introduce the breeding of "chianine" and pigs.
