Casa Agricola CHIERICI is a family-run organic farm located in the province of Viterbo, between Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany, in the heart of ancient Tuscia, land of the Etruscans.
We have been farmers since the end of the 19th century. Ours is the fourth generation that cultivates with care, commitment and respect the same land that inhabits and dwells. It is with our firm roots in the Italian peasant tradition that we treasure the knowledge handed down to us. At the same time, innovation and experimentation passionately animate our corporate philosophy.
Since 2018 we have started a new and important phase of change for the improvement and management of our approximately 60 hectares of land, dedicating ourselves, in addition to cereal and legume crops, to the cultivation of new varieties.
We have concentrated on the cultivation of oilseeds, specifically sunflower, hemp, safflower, flax and camelina: our experience in the direct transformation of agricultural products began with these crops.
In our laboratory we personally work the seeds that we grow and collect, producing oils with precious nutraceutical properties thanks to a careful and controlled cold pressing process.
