In Valentano, in the Alta Tuscia Laziale between Tuscany and Umbria, a few kilometers from Lake Bolsena, the "La Bottara" organic farm operates, set in a wide valley of volcanic origin.
The farm has ancient origins and the family for at least five generations has grown up working with passion in this land, among plants, flowers and delicious products, enjoying the scents and flavors of the seasons.
Since 1994 he has been cultivating typical and organic products.
The soil, of a volcanic nature, is well suited to the cultivation of legumes, berries, fruit trees, vegetables and precious aromatic herbs, including saffron. For us who work in organic production, work in the countryside is mainly a philosophy of life, expressed in respect for plants and their natural growth times.
The reward for this commitment is wonderful fruit from which to produce tasty foods and delicious jams. Our plants, cared for with every attention, know only "strong" earth, the warmth of the sun, the water of the sky, the love of those who cultivate them.
