The Consorzio Cooperativo Ortofrutticolo Alto Viterbese (C.C.OR.A.V.) is a second-level associated body that brings together five basic agricultural cooperatives operating in the area between Lake Bolsena, Tuscany and Umbria, involving the municipalities of Grotte di Castro , San Lorenzo Nuovo, Onano, Latera, Acquapendente and Gradoli, for a catchment area of ??approximately 5,000 hectares.
This production area is one of the best for growing potatoes, due to the volcanic origin of the potassium-rich soils. The organoleptic characteristics of the potatoes produced by the members of the Consortium are of high quality and make it possible to obtain excellent dishes especially with our Monalisa, Agata, Vivaldi and Ambra varieties.
