Tuscia ice cream shop

The Tuscia Viterbese ice cream products are obtained from an artisan laboratory, located in the province of Viterbo and duly registered in the C.C.I.A.A. of Viterbo. The entire manufacturing process of the products must be carried out in the aforementioned artisan laboratory, starting from the raw materials; manual input must prevail in the manufacturing process. The location of the craft workshop must be authorized, due to the type of processing that takes place there, by the competent control and supervisory bodies.

The types of ice cream whose characterizing ingredients are not produced in the province of Viterbo (e.g. pistachio or coffee ice cream) cannot be included in these Regulations. The use of semi-finished products is permitted only if made entirely from raw materials produced in the province of Viterbo.
