The Castelli farm, located in Marta in the province of Viterbo, is immersed in the splendid landscape of the lower Lazio Maremma, in a succession of hills that gently slope down to Lake Bolsena.
Antonio Castelli, founder of the company and pioneer of the Cannaiola, wanted to bring back to the territory, assisted and supported by his daughter Debora Castelli, owner of the company, vine and wine, replanting them in a particularly suitable area called Rosicasasso. From his land he reserved a hectare and a half for the vine, he waited for the grapes to grow and ripen at the right point and then he vinified it by adopting correct technology, with refrigerated tanks and barrels.
With enthusiasm, courage and long experimentation, Castelli has obtained a product that is good to drink and that reflects tradition, a wine, since 1996, regulated by the disciplinary of the Colli Etruschi Viterbesi Doc, an excellent combination of modern technology and flavors of the past.
