The San Lazzaro farm was founded in 2002 by the will of Giacomo and Costantino Scatarcia in an area of ??volcanic origin with an ancient and high wine-growing vocation located on the southern shore of Lake Bolsena in the municipalities of Marta and Capodimonte.
In 2003 we decided to convert part of the old vineyard left by our grandfather and to increase the vineyard area. The intention was to relaunch Marta's "Cannaiola", transforming the traditional and reduced production, until then intended for family consumption and used as a prestigious gift.
Today, after years of hard work having a small vineyard in full production and an efficient and technological cellar, we are happy to be able to present a quality product, with the characteristics and authenticity of the past.
