FRIDAY
Arrival on Friday morning and accommodation in hotel/b&b/farmhouse (depending on the number of people).
Lunch free time.
In the afternoon we will visit Viterbo, discover a splendid medieval old town with its characteristic narrow streets and numerous squares with monumental fountains. We will also make a stop in the museum of “Sodalizio dei Facchini di Santa Rosa”to discover the tradition related to the car of Saint patron Rosa.
Dinner free time, overnight stay.
SATURDAY
Day dedicated to the outdoors!
An immersive experience dedicated to the discovery of two wonderful Renaissance gardens: to begin with the Sacred Wood of Bomarzo, also known as the garden of monsters due to the presence of large statues depicting fantastic figures, your guide will let you discover the secrets of this mysterious park!
Lunch free time (possibility to eat packed in the park or in the indoor restaurant).
In the afternoon we will continue with a visit to Villa Lante, one of the best examples of a late Renaissance residence, located within a 22-hectare park, which houses magniloquent fountains with water features and a splendid Italian garden.
Return to Viterbo, dinner free time, overnight stay.
SUNDAY
Morning dedicated to discovering the mysterious world of the Etruscans: at the archaeological museum of the Rocca Albornoz , in the company of your guide you will have a dynamic and engaging visit in which you will observe the artifacts and touch some reproductions, an experience between history and the riches of the territory!
Lunch free time.
