The apartment takes its name to a type of pottery made in Viterbo between 1300 and 1400 and characterized by relief decorations of cobalt blue on a white background.
All the majolicas inside the apartment are completely handmade by Artistica and represent the iconography of the historical period: images of noblewomen, coats of arms, dragons, lions, fantastic figures apotropaic, fish (symbol of prosperity) and birds (symbol of peace, harmony and serenity).

The apartment takes its name from the particular fountain designed by Vignola which appears through the window that overlooks Piazza Castello, right opposite Palazzo delle Logge.
The structure of the house, which reflects the architectural style of the area, maintains the essentials even in the chromaticism of the land of Tuscia.
The kitchenette has been realized with the simplicity of bare clay, without decorations, to enhance the strength of the material and colour, which draws the energy and naturalness of this land of volcanic origin, where the transformation is also linked to the element of fire, the last step to make terracotta.
